New Corporate Partnership, the Wollongong NRE Hawks NBL team a season-defining victory!
PrinterCorp is proud to announce a three year Corporate Partnership with the community owned Wollongong NRE Hawks NBL team, and the Hawks responded with a resounding victory in the NBL Round 5 top of the table clash with the Perth Wildcats, comprehensively defeating the second-placed Wildcats 100-67 at WIN Entertainment Centre on Sunday 4th November!
PrinterCorp, the fastest growing privately owned Managed Print Services company in Australia, is always looking to foster and develop young local talent, and has become very successful in helping to stimulate and grow profitability in the business community, both for its Partners and Clients, Australia-wide.
With this community development and success focus in mind, PrinterCorp views its sponsorship of the Hawks as an ideal opportunity to help support the Illawarra region’s sporting and local community, by investing in the development of young homegrown talent to assist them in reaching the world stage of success.
“I’d like to congratulate the Hawks on their outstanding victory on Sunday over the Wildcats. While I can’t claim our new Partnership with the Wollongong NRE Hawks in any way directly contributed to their success on-court, we are thrilled to start our relationship with such a great achievement! And I hope this is indicative of a long and very successful relationship with the Hawks and the entire Illawarra community,’’ says Dominic Fester, Marketing & Communications Manager for PrinterCorp.
In fact, PrinterCorp’s relationship with the region includes additional business and infrastructure investment, having earlier this year announced the acquisition of the Ricoh Business Centre in Keira Street, Wollongong.
The previous Managing Director of Ricoh Business Centre, now General Manager of PrinterCorp Rod Meeuwissen said; “Having grown up in the area and long been a fan of the NRE Hawks and watching the home games from the stands, it is a personal pleasure to be able to join forces with the Hawks and share this growth with the local community.
With a core part of our Partnership being Coach Sponsor of Gordie McLeod, a powerful local identity, we see this as an ideal way to reinforce our presence and long term commitment to the local business community.”
PrinterCorp wishes the NRE Hawks further success and hopes that they maintain their unbeaten start to the 2012/13 NBL season, and extend their status as the #1 team and the only undefeated NBL team with another victory on the road to the Sydney Kings in Sydney tonight.
